Rafael is a senior at Jacksonville State University, pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Advertising with a Minor in Marketing. He is on track to graduate in December 2025.

Throughout his collegiate journey, Rafael has dedicated himself to strengthening his skills as a communicator. He has served as a mentor to freshmen and held the position of Chapter President for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., experiences that have sharpened his abilities in effective communication, adaptability, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Rafael also gained valuable professional experience through his internship with the Oral Reconstruction Foundation in partnership with BioHorizons, where he served as an Education and Marketing Intern. Over the course of four months, he immersed himself in the marketing aspects of a business environment, building practical skills and knowledge that will support his career long after graduation.

Looking ahead, Rafael is passionately pursuing a career in public affairs, public relations, and marketing. His interest in public affairs and community engagement is driven by a desire to create meaningful change. Whether serving a city council, state legislature, school board, or working within an organization, Rafael is committed to making a positive impact through policymaking, advocacy, and outreach.
